Hello there. Even though the stadium is being deconstructed, we can still save some part of it. Don't give up yet just fight. You should try get a TV ad to alert attention. They are only removing the seats now. We may be able to save some of the stadium like the walls, the dugouts, and most of all, the field. Get more attention to the website, we still can save it.

It seems almost hopeless to keep our great ballpark standing. Most of us have received the letter stating the ballpark no longer has historic signifigance due to the 1970's renovation. However, what is still standing from the orginal park is the outer wall. It has been painted and had the spiral ramps added, however, it is still essentially untouched.

Perhaps our next move should be to keep the outter wall standing. It would still allow the district to develope the parkland that is desperately needed while leaving a part of Yankees Stadium for all of us to see, the same way we always saw while driving the Major Deagan. Just an idea. i would prefer the whole ballpark stand..... or better yet, have the new ballpark knocked down for parkland.... however; I think this may be the best we can do.

I put up a post roughly a month ago. I went back to saveyankeestadium.org tonight to see other posts. To my surprise there has not been one other post in nearly a month. This is all too evident of what lies ahead: the complete destruction of a true American icon.

Yankee Stadium should be designated a national historic site. Preserve the field and some of the original structure. Baseball is part of American culture. The idea to tear everything down and split the field up into three fields of little league, softball, and baseball is "political correctness" run-a-muck. This is the MOST SACRED GROUND IN ALL OF SPORTS IN ALL OF AMERICAN HISTORY! We can build recreational fields anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!! This is YANKEE STADIUM! Have we lost our way so much as to not preserve history? The problem here is the real Baseball lover is far outnumbered than the type of person who put together the current plans on the Yankee Stadium Site. I say New-Yorkers need to make a strong stand. They need a true leader to lead the charge. Someone please step-up!

Someone reach out to Donald Trump. I am sure he would know how to keep the stadium or at least part of it in tact, not no mention profitable and providing jobs. Hotels, Public areas, whatever. It's a worldwide known piece of land!
